He is the founder and host of the podcast TalkSomeShitShow, a platform for influencers to share life from their lense. DJ Cymba is also the official DJ for the music collectives
DJ Cymba accumulated his reputation in Chicago by DJ’ing and hosting open mics throughout the city, including but not limited to: Lyric Lagoon, Friday Night Lites, YCA, and FLOW (Fresh Lyrics on Wednesday).
He’s hosted multiple house parties across the city, DJ’d for some of the most talented artists in Chicago, university events across Illinois, and festivals such as The Taste of Chicago and South by Southwest.

DJ Cymba is the official DJ for HipHop duo Mother Nature and their collective TheGr8Thinkaz. DJ Cymba has toured independently and internationally with Mother Nature, Elton Aura, and LALA LALA; while simultaneously growing as a mentor to teach youth how to DJ and what it means to pursue a career as a full-time DJ.
With over 6+ years as of experience, DJ Cymba has performed at Wilson, Virgin Hotels, SoHo House + more bringing his blends of past and present HipHop, RnB, House, Gospel, and Trap. DJ Cymba's sound sets the tone for every show and event he is a part of, including his very own "Cymba Sessionz" event series celebrating Black culture.
